Pregnancy Support

Counselling:
Our counselors are very experienced, caring and compassionate, non-judgmental and will treat your problem as completely confidential.

We provide counseling not just up until the time you make your decision, but at any time after. Once you call on us for help we are committed to helping you for as long as you need us.

If you go ahead and have an abortion, we will still be there for you afterwards, and will do all we can to help you.

Medical Referrals:
We can refer you to a doctor who will confirm your pregnancy and advise you on when the baby is due. You will need a Medicare card for bulk billing, or if you don’t have a Medicare card, we will arrange for payment of your first visit ourselves.

Financial Assistance:
In a small selection of cases we are able to help out with payment of accounts, such as power and rent – but this is of course subject to the approval of our finance committee.

Food:
We will arrange for food hampers or vouchers to help you over a difficult time and later on direct you to where you can obtain the best and cheapest food.

Budgeting:
If you wish we can refer you to an accountant who will sit down with you at no charge, discuss your finances and help you form a plan whereby you can manage your income more effectively.

Baby clothes and furniture:
We have a selection of baby clothes, napkins, rugs and children’s clothing and can usually supply the nursery furniture you need. We also have a selection of maternity clothing.
